That is just fabulous. Funny, and yet strangely moving. ‘I should believe in you tonight babe\ And that’s an epistemic ‘should’ ‘ is a lyric of pure genius.
Maike – I’m not sure; it’s still working for me. Trying a different browser might help. Let me know if you’re still having trouble and I can email it to you.
Hi Carrie, I want to join the legions of fans. I thought that was fantastically good, witty and a bit moving. Highly competitive against any philosophy song I can think of. And I’m no fan of geeky humour (having no sense of humour myself). I’d also be keen on a remake after the a priori had abused you for a bit and you’d got back together again. It would give extra resonance to the tonight there’s nothing left to revise line and, just generally, darken it’s grip on you.
Thanks Paul! Having no sense of humour you mightn’t like these, but there are more songs, some in similar vein, by my band The 21st Century Monads. If you liked ‘A Priori’, you might also enjoy ‘Willard Van Orman Quine’.

Thanks! Glad you liked it. Yeah, it almost makes me cry a little when I sing this. I love the a priori so much.
That’s remarkable.
For some reason I’m only getting the first 5 seconds or so of the song…but the lyrics are amazing. Wow.
Hi Preston,
For some reason, that does seem to happen in some browsers. Can you try a different one? If not, I can email it to you.
Thanks, Carrie Jenkins! Fun and moving song delivered with feeling….
Superb!! Any plans for a sequel?
Carrie– Got it. Thanks a lot.
I certainly couldn’t rule out a sequel …
Hey! That’s really a funny song! But today the link is dead – why is that?

All fine now! Thank you!
Fantastic song.
“Can’t hold you come what may, but that’s OK.
Tonight there’s nothing to revise.”
That’s hilarious!
